Two New Heavy Hitters Join Gluten Free Lineup 


Remember when going gluten free was a sad exercise in exchanging your favorite baked goods for dry, dense imitations? Well dry those eyes because whether you’re gluten free--or you just enjoy great scones -- we’ve got some news for you. 

Sticky Fingers is proud to debut two new additions to its gluten-free lineup: Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Scones and Gluten Free Pumpkin Cranberry Scones. We really don’t like to boast. But we will say the first are a favorite of our pint-sized taste testers (and their parents love them too). The GF Chocolate Chip scones are a not-too-sweet treat ideal for lunch boxes, and the perfect solution to the inevitable “It’s our day to bring soccer snacks?” panic attack. 

Meanwhile our GF Pumpkin Cranberry Scones offer an edible reminder of crisp October mornings. The subtle pumpkin taste and bright cranberries in these scones pair nicely with a cup of coffee or warm mug of tea. Bake a batch in anticipation of our favorite season, and stash an extra package or two in your cupboard for a quick addition to brunch any time of year. 

But what about the gluten? What about it indeed. We know you don’t want it, and the quality taste and texture of these two new gluten-free scone mixes ensures you’ll never miss it. 


New Glazed Scone Mixes Bring a Little Something Special to the Table


There’s no doubt we appreciate the beautiful simplicity of a scone. But every once in awhile we yearn to kick it up a notch. Put on our nice shoes. Maybe get a little fancy. On those days, our new Glazed Cinnamon Raisin Scones and Glazed Maple Oat Scones are just the ticket. 

The first is the happy marriage of a cinnamon roll and scone. Raisins dot this cinnamon treat, and the sweet glaze hints that something a little special is in the air. But maybe maple is more your style? Then you’ll be pleased to make the acquaintance of our Glazed Maple Oat Scones

These scones boast a subtle maple flavor, and a perfectly crumbly, nibble-the-edges-off-while-they’re-still-warm texture, courtesy of the hearty oats. And just like the right pair of earrings or an unexpected mimosa with brunch, our glazed scones add that bit of fancy you’re seeking, but with no extra fuss. 

The glaze mix comes right in the scone package. Simply add water (or milk if you like) and whisk. Brush the glaze on the tops of your freshly baked scones, and prepare for some quizzical smiles from your family and friends. They’ll wonder: Is something special happening? Why yes. Yes it is.
