Sticky Fingers Bakeries debuts new Coconut Chocolate Chip Scone
Spokane, Wash. – Sticky Fingers Bakeries introduces its Coconut Chocolate Chip Scones, the latest addition to the company's popular line of premium scone mixes.
"Coconut and chocolate have always been a favorite combination of mine," says Tom Owens, owner and co-founder of Sticky Fingers Bakeries. "We're excited to add yet another great flavor for our customers to try. We know it will be one of their new favorites."
The Coconut Chocolate Chip Scones made their debut at the San Francisco Fancy Food Show, and have already garnered rave reviews. Many of Sticky Fingers larger customers including Cost Plus World Market and Home Goods are featuring the scones in their spring promotions.
These scones are easy to love: They boast flakes of real coconut for a hint of tropical flavor that marries perfectly with the high-quality chocolate chips. The just-add-water mix bakes into golden brown, crumbly, light scones that would make any English grandmother proud.
And like the rest of Sticky Finger's products, the Coconut Chocolate Chip Scones don't contain artificial preservatives, artificial flavors or colorings, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats or cholesterol. The company has focused on using only high quality ingredients since it began as a retail bakery in San Diego more than 25 years ago.
Sticky Finger's scone mixes are now sold around the globe, and offered in a range of flavors from the classic Original recipe to the innovative – and delicious – Raspberry White Chocolate, Pumpkin Spice, and Vanilla Chai scones.
But the food fun doesn’t end there. The company's expanded product line includes premium Northwest jams, fruit butters, pepper jellies and English curds, all designed to complement the easy-to-make scones. Owens says the Coconut Chocolate Chip Scones are a great addition Sticky Finger's line up.
"The flavors in these scones are perfectly balanced," he says. "They’re great with a cup of coffee in the morning, as a late-night snack or anything in between.” Sticky Fingers fans can find the new Coconut Chocolate Chip Scones and the company's other products at retail locations around the country.
